Data-protection permission
Read the essential Uganda data-protection notice. You must accept every item before a new account can be created.
NFA Staff SACCO/TELSPAY is the data controller for this member-onboarding service. Contact the SACCO office or its appointed data-protection contact for privacy requests.
We collect contact details, identity-document images and entered identity details, a live selfie, device/security signals, payment records, account choices, and information required for membership, loans and guarantor consent.
We use the data to verify eligibility, prevent fraud, open and administer the account, process and reconcile payments, assess and administer loans, obtain guarantor consent, meet legal duties, and maintain audit evidence.
Necessary data may be shared with authorised SACCO staff and processors such as email/SMS providers, Flutterwave, fraud-prevention services and regulators or law-enforcement bodies where the law requires it. We do not sell member data.
Records are kept only for documented membership, financial, fraud-prevention, audit and legal-retention periods, then securely deleted or anonymised. Failed onboarding files must follow the SACCO retention schedule.
Under Uganda data-protection law you may request access or correction, object where applicable, withdraw consent where consent is the basis, and complain to the Personal Data Protection Office. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing and may prevent account creation where required data cannot be processed.
Sensitive data is encrypted or hashed where appropriate, stored outside public folders, access-controlled, audited and transmitted over HTTPS. No system can eliminate all risk; report suspected misuse immediately.
Selecting Accept records this policy version, time, session, device and network audit hashes. Selecting Decline records the decision, ends this registration session and returns you to sign-in.
